Kids can measure the amount of snowfall this season by making these cute holiday-themed paint rulers! We made a snowman or reindeer to celebrate the winter and Christmas holidays. This is a great way for kids to become cunning and creative, while also enjoying outdoor activities and interacting with their projects.
  material:
  Paint stick
  Felt
  Construction drawings
  Hole punch
  Permanent marker
  glue
  Chenille stem (normal or shiny)
  Pompom
  Twisted eyes
  Instructions:
  1) First, according to the design of your choice (reindeer or snowman), coat the sticks with white or brown paint.
  2) Add lines and numbers to measure with a permanent marker.
  3) For the snowman, use red felt to add a scarf. Then cut out the hat and nose with construction paper, and then glue them on. You can use a hole punch to pierce the mouth and add wiggly eyes.
  4) Reindeer horns are made of brown chenille stems. Then add a red pompom on the nose. You can even string a bell on the chenille stem to surround him!
We are happy to see how other artisans use this idea to make their own cute and festive measuring scales! Some people use other materials such as bells and cotton balls to make Santa Claus. Even added yarn to hang them up.
