When my boys are in elementary school, I like to get their holiday art works. I especially like their art projects, which include their fingerprints. And, when we started decorating the house for the holiday this year, I thought it would be fun to have older kids make some new holiday crafts for me! However, my favorite is the cute DIY wood chip Rudolph jewelry with the fingerprints of my 13-year-old boy.

  Wooden decoration art painting supplies:
Wood slices-We used logs from the wood pile, but craft shops also sell them.
  Red paint
  Paint palette or paper plate
  The eyes are dull
  Small branches
  ribbon
  Hot glue gun and glue
  Optional-school glue
My mother and sister are kindergarten teachers, so it is a pleasure to meet these teachers in class. let's start!
Collect items first. We found a log from the stake and cut it into thin slices with a chop saw. However, you can buy wood chips at handicraft stores and big box stores. I also asked the boys to collect branches from the yard to use as antlers.
Now, cut a ribbon. Then, hot glue the branches and ribbons to the back of the wood chips.
That's it! I hope this fun little craft can inspire you to make your own DIY wood chip Rudolph ornaments with young children (or older children) this holiday season. I know I am very happy that we are all together this year! We have some other interesting Christmas handicraft tutorials, let's share them next time.
