When my children were young, we used to make people and animals with plastic Easter eggs. They remind me of Weeble People toys from my childhood. The boys like to make piglets, cows, chickens and rabbits with sharpeners and handmade foam. The day of our Easter Egg Animal Handicraft Project is my favorite day with the boys. And, I can’t wait to share how easy they are to make!

  Animal project supplies:
  Plastic easter eggs.
  scissors.
  Hot glue gun and glue.
  Sharpei pen marking.
  Make foam or construction paper.
  Googley's eyes.
  Pompom
These little animals are perfect for classroom game centers or family game centers! My boys like to play with their construction logs and trains.
  Next, cut those out.
let's start! Since the glue is very hot, you will need to help young children do this. However, you can let young craftsmen decorate their Easter egg animal handicraft projects with sharp tools.
First, collect items. We made a chicken and a rabbit, so we used pink and yellow handmade foam, pompoms, Google-like eyes and hot glue to fix everything.
First draw the ears and feet of the rabbit and the wings of the chicken. The feet and beaks are on handmade foam (or construction paper).
Finally, use hot glue to fix the handmade foam, eyes and pompoms on the eggs. I used yellow pompoms on the top of the chicks to mimic feather tufts. Then, I glued the wings, feet, beak and Google-like eyes in place. I repeated these steps for the rabbit, but added the pompom as a cotton tail.
That's it! I hope this fun Easter egg animal crafts project will inspire you to create your own small egg animal farm! I put the chicken and rabbit in my mother's classroom, and her children like to play with them!
